Dale Edmonds lives in Singapore with her husband, four children, and a tribe of cats, dogs and guinea pigs.
She was born and raised mostly in Singapore, and gets hypothermia in air-conditioning. On that basis, she has enough wool to outfit the Yukon. She writes, codes a little and reads a lot.
Other than that, she's a fairly boring person, really. She understands why people move to Quirm.
She did get married in July 2000.
Oggham.com is a reference to the Terry Pratchett Discworld series, of which she has read all, Lords and Ladies some thirty times. She quotes. Some authors are worthy of obsession, and at least here, she shows discretion.
Oggham is an ancient language used by dwarves in the Copperhead range, near Lancre. Nanny Ogg claims that her family is connected to it. It probably survives as the common written script of dwarves, with many spoken dialects, much like Chinese.
The idea is based on the Irish script, Ogham, which consists of twenty runic characters, usually found on stone monuments. It is not linked to any other regional languages, and its origins are mysterious. Read more at wiki.
